Abstract

This study examines teacher performance seen from the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) competence, the use of social media and the use of information technology. The purpose of this study is to analyze the direct and indirect influence between independent, dependent and intervening variables. Type of quantitative research with a sample of 43 respondents of public junior high school teachers in Makassar City. Data collection techniques in this study through questionnaires, literature studies, and observations. Data analysis techniques using SEM analysis with the SmartPLS program. The results of the study found that AI competence has a significant effect on IT utilization. The use of social media in learning activities has a significant effect on the use of IT. Furthermore, AI competencies applied by teachers have not been able to significantly improve teacher performance. Similarly, the use of social media in learning activities has not been able to significantly improve teacher performance. The use of IT has a positive and significant effect on improving teacher performance.
