PENERAPAN BATIK PESISIR DENGAN BUDAYA TIONGHOA PADA BUSANA WANITA PEMBELAJARAN FASHION MERCHANDISING
Abstract
This research article aims to determine the manufacturing process and the finished results of fashion collage products by using coastal batik inspired by various Chinese cultures in learning fashion merchandising in women's clothing in the form of Chinese dresses to produce diverse fashion merchandising in the collection of women's fashion products. The method used is a three-stage design process (labat & Sokolowski, 1999), which consists of 3 stages, namely problem definition & research, Creative exploration, and implementation.from the results obtained by the fashion mancendaser program in women's clothing in accordance with design elements and principles, the results of the fashion program as a whole have fulfilled visual merchandising in the application of fashion products in order to create the desire to buy or wear. Visual products that always develop quickly over time, therefore the development of fashion products in learning fashion merchandising can be in line with market desires, especially for specific moments in the social environment.
